Photographic Images Australia - Photographer's Platform
This page is for photographers to post their work.
The rules.
- Inappropriate posts will be removed. This site is for photo-journalistic purposes.
- Offensive material will be removed and the poster banned from the site.
- All photographs are to be a general rating that any child could look at.
- Any illegal images or text will be removed and the poster reported to the Police.
- Every image posted is to be accompanied by a back story. It can be about the content of the image or about how the image was taken. Even a story about the efforts taken to capture the image.
- This is not a portrait site. Please restrict your images to landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, etc.
- Images will always be manipulated. That is a fact of life for a photographer now. Please keep the manipulation to a minimum.
- This site is for photographers, not graphic designers. The images that you post should reflect what was seen through the camera, not what your imagination decided to add in order to change the nature of the image.
- Most importantly, this sight is designed for would-be photo-journalists to post their work.
- I have allowed comments on the posts. Please respect the site and the photographer. If you wish to make comment on an image, make it useful and respectful comment. Just saying that an image is crap is not useful. Explaining how the image could have been improved is helpful and respectful.
- If there is any form of bullying going on at a serious level, I will cease access to comments all together.
- Anyone who is a photograph can post here. Amateur or Pro, makes no difference. It is about posting an image and having a story to go with it. So, if you are 8 years old and have a story to tell about your picture, then tell it here.
